Balfour starts on north London academy

LONDON: Balfour Beatty is to build a £27m school in Enfield, North London for Oasis Academy group.

Balfour is currently putting its supply chain in place for the project following a "meet the contractor" event last month for interested firms.

Work is scheduled to start on the Ponders End Oasis Academy in August with the first primary students using the first phase building in September next year, with secondary and sixth form pupils joining them in January 2013.
