SHROPSHIRE: Police arrested two men on suspicion of theft half an hour after a central heating boiler and other items were stolen from the Shrewsbury branch of Travis Perkins.

Officers were called to Travis Perkins just after 2pm on Tuesday following reports three men in a white van had left the site with a central heating boiler and various other items, including some electric shower systems.

A search found a van in a nearby pub car park where two men were arrested after items matching the description of those stolen were found in the back of the vehicle.
