Welsh Water to spend £40m for 'minor works' deal

Published:  29 April, 2011

CARDIFF: Welsh Water needs 24 contractors to carry out a programme of minor works across three regions.

The water company aims to appoint up to eight civil engineering contractors for each of its three regions covering the North, South East and South West.

Companies are being invited to pre-qualify for the four-year framework, which will cover water and sewer pipe repair packages between £10 000 and £250 000.

Firms interested in joining the framework have been given until 24 May to submit pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) as part of the formal procurement selection process.
