GREATER LONDON: Jewson, the supplier of sustainable timber and building materials, has welcomed independent builders' merchants Castle Timber and Merton Timber into the company's fold.
"The valued addition of these reputable merchants guarantees a strong, healthy network of Jewson branches in the London area - ensuring that trade professionals are never far away from a local branch," commented Mike Lamb, Jewson area director for London.
"The additions mean Jewson has a further 15 branches in its London network, which now total 45. Customers in the London area now have access to a comprehensive range of products including timber and building materials; kitchens and bathrooms; painting and decorating; flooring; drylining and insulation; landscaping; sustainable building solutions as well as the latest renewable systems.
"The incorporation of Castle Timber and Merton Timber into the Jewson network ensures that customers in the London area are now never more than five miles from a branch," Mr Lamb said.
