BSS to target power sector with new appointment

Published:  13 April, 2011

LEICESTER: Heating and pipeline distributor, BSS Industrial, has announced the appointment of Matt Trott as key account director for the power generation sector.

Mr Trott joined BSS Industrial over 20 years ago and has worked in a variety of senior sales and operational roles. Mr Trott was previously the business development director for UGS, the below ground drainage and civils company acquired by BSS Industrial in Feb 2010. His new position will focus on the co-ordination and development of BSS Industrial’s offering to the power generation industry.

Mr Trott said: “UK power generation is set to benefit widely from substantial investment over the next decade. BSS Industrial is able to offer complete solutions through its extensive range of products and services, enabling it to provide excellent support to the supply chains of both current and new build projects. BSS Industrial has both the expertise and logistical capability to service this sector in the same way it supports clients so effectively in other specialist sectors including those in water, food and pharmaceutical industries.”

“My new role has brought a new set of challenges and I am looking forward to using my extensive experience to position BSS Industrial as a key player for the supply of vital equipment to the power generation industry.”
