Hill Partnership wins £40m London housing job

LONDON: Social housing landlord Genesis has awarded builder Hill Partnership a £40m-plus contract to build a landmark housing development in Colindale, north London.

The Essex builder beat a heavyweight line up of Mansell, Kier, Willmott Dixon and Galliford Try to the big social housing job.

Architect Pollard Thomas Edwards has designed the green development which involves building 292 flats and 17 mews houses.

Vertical axis wind turbines and solar heating will be installed to help the site achieve an Eco-Homes rating of Very Good.

The Zenith House scheme includes a 14-storey mixed use building alongside local community facilities, a restaurant, offices and parking.
