B&Q's Irish energy centre

DUBLIN: B&Q opens its first Energy Saver Centre at its Liffey Valley store, Dublin. The Energy Centre will help customers discover how they can save money and make their homes more comfortable by making them more energy efficient.

A BER-qualified energy experts staff the new initiative and customers have access to a free survey and 'no obligation audit' of their homes' energy efficiency requirements as part of B&Q's "commitment and approach to sustainability", the company says.
