TAUNTON: Bradfords Building Supplies was again a sponsor of the 2011 Mendip District Council Built in Quality Awards for a fourth year.

The event took place at Glastonbury Town Hall with a total of 12 awards presented by the building control team that celebrated the excellence of building quality in a variety of projects from large commercial developments, education and housing projects to domestic refurbishment, along with awards for administration, best partnership and sustainability.

Mike Tidmarsh, sales and marketing director Bradfords Building Supplies says: "Having been involved with the Mendip Building Awards since they started four years ago, we were pleased to again show our support for this increasingly popular event. They represent the high level of design and workmanship we continue to see in the area and are an important way of recognising construction excellence."

Anna Thompson, National Training Director for Local Authority Building Control (LABC) and Business Development Director for the South West gave a presentation before going on to present the plaques and certificates to the lucky winners.
