Grafton appoints director for renewables

Published:  17 March, 2011

DUBLIN: Grafton Group has appointed Paul Roche as renewables director. In this important new role, Mr Roche’s principal objective will be to grow sales and margins for Grafton’s UK merchant brands in this emerging marketplace, which is a critical growth area.

Mr Roche has specialised in the sector for a number of years with specific experience in the building industry. His aim is to help the Grafton brands understand and capitalise on the huge sales potential for renewables.

“Although there is keen competition from many different suppliers and retailers in this field, we can help our customers feel confident about installing this technology, particularly as a retrofit product,” says Mr Roche.

“The diverse subject of renewables can seem daunting but my aim is to simplify the sales message and focus our energies in several selected product sectors that, we believe, will be productive for Grafton and our customers.”
