Jewson faces fine over disability discrimination

Cardiff: Jewson is facing a large fine for wrongly sacking a manager after he suffered a stroke.


Jonathan Jones, 56, who had 22 years' service, was dismissed from his £30,000-a-year job while on sick leave after collapsing at work. A Cardiff tribunal ruled Jewson broke disability laws. Jones' settlement will be fixed at a later date.
