Fenton to steer Salus growth

Published:  10 February, 2011

BARNSLEY: To further strengthen the Salus brand with wholesalers and distributors, the heating controls manufacturer has restructured its growing UK sales territory to create a new role for Rob Fenton, who now assumes the position of Northern sales director.

Charged with establishing and developing relationships with new and existing customers in order to supply Salus’ comprehensive portfolio of heating controls, Mr Fenton is also responsible for a team of regional account managers that cover the whole of the UK. In addition, Mr Fenton has sole responsibility for the North West/East and West Yorkshire.

Managing director at Salus, Dean Jepson, commented: “At a time when many companies are curtailing investment, Salus has continued to invest significantly in expanding its sales presence. This latest appointment illustrates our ambitious strategy to drive the Salus brand forward and to continuing to change the face of heating controls in the UK.”

Mr Fenton brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Prior to his recent promotion, he held the position of regional account manager at Salus for several years. Mr Jepson concluded: “Rob will play a major role in steering Salus’ future growth.”
