SOUTHAMPTON: TWC Joinery and Shopfitting has called in administrators after reported "substantial debts".
Administrator SFP said it hoped TWC, which is continuing to trade and has a good reputation built up over ten years, could be sold as a going concern.
TWC, based at Quay Industrial Park in Quayside Road, employs around 40 people and has an estimated annual turnover of £6.5m.
SFP said the joinery, merchandising and shop-fitting specialist had built up several large debts, including tax bill.
Group partner at SFP, Daniel Plant, said: "We are already in discussions with a number of potential purchasers and are looking to achieve a sale of the business as a going concern."
