Cheshire Concrete acquires Marshalls plant

LLAY: Cheshire Concrete Products has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Clwyd Concrete Products has acquired the concrete block plant assets from Marshalls, with effect from 1 February 2011.

Clwyd Concrete Products will manufacture at the Llay site a full range of fair face and paint quality aggregate concrete blocks, expanding the range already manufactured at its Middlewich site.

The company sees this development as an ongoing strategic step in positioning itself as a leading independent aggregate block manufacturer in the North West of England and North Wales.
