Drainage subcontractor Parkway Services closes

Published:  07 February, 2011

CROWLE: Parkway Services has been place in the hands of the administrators.

The civil engineering firm collapsed when it was unable to defend a winding up petition from HM Revenue and Customs for £600,000.

Parkway ran a fleet of plant ranging from 1.5t mini-excavators to 30t-plus excavators to dump trucks and rollers. Much of the fleet was registered with an associate company called Scaff UK, which is also in administration.

Administrator Jeremy Bleazard of XL Business Solutions: "At present we are trying to locate all the plant to realise assets of the company to the benefit of the creditors."
