New general manager at Twyford

ALSAGER: John Blackburn, the current supply chain director at Twyford Bathrooms, has been appointed to a new role as general manager, sales and marketing for UK and Ireland.

Mr Blackburn, 41, has been with Twyford Bathrooms since 1998 and before joining, he worked for Fellowes and Akzo Nobel in IT roles. Mr Blackburn went to the University of Central Lancashire where he studied Business Information Technology.

 

 

 

In his new role Mr Blackburn will be responsible for implementing Sanitec’s brand and product line strategies for Twyford Bathrooms and delivering profit at the country level.

Commenting on his new position Mr Blackburn says: “My immediate objective is to create the right organisational structure to drive Twyford Bathrooms and Sanitec strategies forward.

“I also want to create a clear vision and direction that can be understood and communicated across the entire organisation.”

Mr Blackburn will report ad interim to Armando Finis, CCO, while his former role within Logistics & Supply Chain will be covered directly by Richard Downes, senior vice president, supply chain and logistics.
