Jewson goes gigging

WHITBY: The local Jewson branch has organised a charitable gig between Christmas and New Year.

All proceeds of the gig will go to St Catherine's Hospice, a cause supported by Jewson. The team have raised almost £3,000 for the hospice, along with £13 000 for Cancer Research UK and £8 000 for Palliative Care in the Whitby area.

The gig, on Monday 27 December at Whitby Town's Turnbull Ground, features local band Snatch along with Whitby favourites Carl Robinson and Panda Lasagne.
