NFB members to benefit from TomTom's vehicle tracking

The National Federation of Builders (NFB) has joined forces with TomTom Business Solutions to enable its members to manage their vehicles more effectively and become more competitive as a result by offering a preferential rate on their vehicle management solutions.

Telematics, which allows companies to track their vehicles, vehicle mileage, job despatch and monitor driving styles. This enables companies bigger savings, greater efficiency and the ability to choose the right driver for jobs.

To add extra value to their membership, NFB members will receive a rate two levels above their usual monthly tariff usually only enjoyed by much larger fleets – which will enable them to stay one step ahead of the competition in these tough times. They will also benefit from a free no-obligation audit of their current vehicle management practices to ascertain areas where TomTom can help improve business performance.

Chief executive of the NFB Julie Evans said: "We welcome the collaboration with TomTom as a new innovation in our focus on our customer‚s service. TomTom epitomise the values that we and our members prioritise: efficiency, money-saving and concern over green issues."

"Builders and tradesmen will see some great benefits from using WEBFLEET," said TomTom business solutions sales director Giles Margerison. "The facilities on offer will be key to ensuring greater productivity and safety on jobs.

"Our bespoke tariffs and dedicated local representatives will enable us to find the right solutions for individual businesses. We hope to see a closer link between TomTom and the building sector as we develop products that meet their specific vehicle and workflow management needs."
