B&Q counts the cost of cash raids

BILSTON: Burglars targeted B&Q on Spring Vale Business Park twice in a month, breaking into the main office to steal cash.

Police said that on both occasions the thieves tried to smash glass in the doors to the main entrance and when that failed, forced a fire door.

Police say they have increased patrols and the store has reviewed security.

The break-ins happened overnight on October 4 and November 1.
