DEKS Distribution expands to new warehouse

Published:  03 November, 2010

BRISTOL: DEKS Distribution UK has moved to larger premises in Nailsea near Bristol after outgrowing its previous warehouse facility in Portbury.

Since DEKS set up the UK division seven years ago the business has grown tenfold, adding more products and members of staff to meet increasing demand.

“Our growth has been phenomenal,” said divisional manager David Jones, “but we’ve worked hard to get to this point. All of our staff have an in-depth product knowledge and we pride ourselves on giving customers excellent customer service and technical advice. Having premium brands like Dektite, Selkirk and Perform obviously helps to raise our profile but in today’s competitive market we are under no illusion it is our reputation for having the right products in stock at the right time and our reliability that keeps our customers coming back.

He added: “A well organised warehouse and a good working environment for staff are crucial to maintaining high standards and our new premises give us everything a business of our size needs.”
