Temperatures soar for golf event

CHESHIRE: The annual Rowlinson Golf Day on 16 June celebrated its 30th year running in temperatures to rival a golf resort in the Algarve.

Hosted by Crewe Golf Club in Cheshire, customers, suppliers and staff of the sister Companies: Rowlinson Packaging, Rowlinson Garden Products and Rowlinson Timber were treated to a 10-hole competition in the morning followed by 18-holes in the afternoon.

While the drinks flowed freely, the guests enjoyed a three course evening meal in the clubhouse and an array of quality prizes for the golfing fanatic, all organised by Rowlinson Packaging managing director, John Williams.

Mr Williams commented: “The event was a great success. We had golfers of all abilities in attendance and because of the handicapping system, they were able to play side by side with equal enjoyment. I look forward to arranging next year’s event."
