KIDDERMINSTER: Staff at B&Q's Green Street branch staged a 1940s-themed last week to raise money for charity Age UK.

Staff dressed in 1940s-style clothing and brought in gifts and homemade cakes for a tombola.

Paula Brown, manager, said: "We had a lot of support from our customers and it was a fun and exciting way to raise money for Age UK."

The store raised a total of £240 for the charity.
