Plumb and Parts Center reveal golfing talent

Published:  30 September, 2010

GLOUCESTERSHIRE: Plumb Center and Parts Center employees took to the golf course at the exclusive Dyrham Park Golf & Country Club, along with their manufacturers and key customers of the merchant's Invitational Southern Pro Am Golf Day.

Spirits were high as the 22 teams competed over 18 holes. The teams included regional Pros selected by the PGA. However, it was the Plumb and Parts Center directors who led their teams to success with, Alan Stevenson, Plumb Center's trading directorm securing first prize for his team who finished 12 under par.

The prize-winning teams were not the only winners on the day with over £1200 raised for Action for Children through a charity hole competition and a raffle.

Alan Stevenson said: "Getting out of the office and being able to meet with colleagues, manufacturers and customers on the golf course is always welcome, but fundraising lies very much at the heart of Plumb and Parts Center and we were pleased to have been able to raise such a significant sum for Action for Children."
