VJ Technology appoints new managing director

ASHFORD: VJ Technology, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and distributors of fixings, fastenings, power tools and consumables, has announced the appointment of Pietro Grandesso as managing director.

With over 15 years experience in the fixings and construction sectors in Europe and the UK, Pietro brings with him a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge to the role. He will oversee all operational activities across VJ Technology whilst strategically aligning the company’s activities across all sites.

Discussing his appointment, Pietro Grandesso comments: “This is an extremely exciting opportunity for me and I am relishing the new challenges this role brings. V.J. Technology’s core values are innovation, customer service and value engineering and I am looking forward to drawing on my sector experience, to ensure we work closely with our customers to deliver tangible benefits both now and in the future.

VJ Technology supplies fixings, power tools and power tool consumables to the construction and civil engineering industries. In addition, it has acted to support its customers by launching the Noise and Vibration Control Group (NVGG) based in Southampton – a testing and measuring facility that is capable of testing any power tool that is used on a construction site.
