New team in town after Atlas takeover

BRADFORD: Atlas Cranes UK has announced the appointment of two new board directors to join Fil and Veronique Filipov.

Jim Smith becomes Commercial Director and Jackie Kilcoyne Finance Director. They both report directly to Fil Filipov who recently acquired the company from Terex Corporation.

At the same time the company has also announced its intention to recruit four additional service engineers based in Hull, Kettering, Worcester and Norwich.

Well known to Atlas customers, Jim Smith joined the loader crane specialist in 1986 and is one of the company’s longest serving employees. Previously Commercial Sales Manager and Project Manager for the company’s MOD business – which he will continue to oversee - he has held a number of positions embracing customer liaison and technical support during his 24 years with the market leader.

Financial Controller for Terex Atlas UK prior to her appointment, Jackie Kilcoyne joined the company in 2006. A Chartered Accountant with a BA in accountancy and economics, Jackie previously worked for British Energy as a financial accountant and before that as a corporate recovery manager with Stoy Hayward/Moores Rowland.
