Focus DIY appoints marketeer

CREWE: Focus DIY has appointed former MFI marketeer Michael Greenhalgh as head of marketing.

Michael Greenhalgh joins Focus immediately and takes responsibility for the DIY chain's marketing, advertising, and customer communication.

He reports to commercial director Penny Teale working alongside brand director Richard Bird.

The post has been vacant since autumn: David Moore held the role on an interim basis until October 2009.
