Trianco goes down

Published:  21 July, 2010

SHEFFIELD: Domestic central heating product supplier Trianco Heating Products went into administration on Friday 16 July.

Trianco has offered a comprehensive range of heating products and is particularly known for its entry into the renewables market with the Activair air source heat pumps. Managing director Perter Fergusson has long been an advocate of renewable energies, actively lobbying for the feed-in tariff before it became a reality.

Installer training company Trianco Training Services have long been independant of Trianco and are in no way affected by this recent development. Training manager Graham Ward says: "It is extremely sad that Trianco Heating Products, a company of such heritage and with whom we have worked so closely with over the years, has come to an end."

Trianco Heating Products was not available for comment.
