TP and H+H go from strength to strength

Published:  28 June, 2010

SEVENOAKS: H+H UK has secured an exclusive contract to supply its traditional Celcon Block aircrete to all heavyside branches of Travis Perkins Group throughout the UK.

This trading relationship has been developed over years and has come about as a result of both partners’ willingness to work towards developing new working methods. These include areas such as: stock control innovations, the rationalisation of distribution networks and the development of on-line ordering systems that are fully integrated with TP’s internal IT system.

Matthew Carter, sales director of H+H highlighted that: “As a supplier, H+H will always learn from its customer. TP Group has always been very forward thinking and is a company that constantly evolves and introduces improvements which benefit all aspects of our supply chain”.

In return, TP benefits from H+H’s considerable investment in product development and its long-established relationships with major housebuilders and contractors.

John Duffy, product manager of Building Materials for Travis Perkins points to H+H’s consistency as another benefit of the relationship: “Travis Perkins has worked with H+H for many years and has established a relationship that has benefited both companies, in good economic times and bad. H+H has always provided the kind of customer service and professional response which Travis Perkins expects from its top suppliers and this professionalism has proved pivotal to ensuring and strengthening the client, supplier relationship we enjoy with H+H today.”
