Police investigate DIY store assault

ISLE OF WIGHT: Police have renewed an appeal for more DIY shoppers to come forward after an alleged assault at a B&Q store in Newport store.

Officers are continuing to investigate an alleged assault by a customer on a staff member inside the B&Q superstore on Dodnor Lane. The staff member, a 57-year-old man from Newport received treatment in hospital for a fractured leg after the alleged assault.
