Timber website is online first

Published:  15 June, 2009

CHORLEY: An online service aimed at architects and specifiers has proved to be popular from the get go.

Pasquill, part of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution's Timber Group, has launched what it claims is the first timber industry website to include a service where architects and builders can upload drawings and obtain product specification advice.

According to managing director Stuart McKill: “The service is an extension of our design function for customers and supports the company's commitment to providing local service nationwide."

The company is one of the largest suppliers of engineered timber in the UK. Pasquill added to its national network at the end of last year when it integrated its business by merging with sister company, RK Timber Engineering.
