BOURNEMOUTH: Timber and builders' merchant Sydenhams has taken delivery of three new Lancer 5 tonne LQ 50 side-loaders for its handling fleet.

Chris Hiscock, Sydenhams' operations director said: "We have to keep on investing in the right equipment to ensure that the business maintains its competitive edge even through the economic climate may remain tough."

The side-loaders are finished in Sydenhams' corporate colours, have fully enclosed cabins, adjustable steering, and pre-controllable hydraulic functions, heat, and defrost systems.

The trucks were bought through Sydenhams' materials handling partner, Lift West.
