Awards for Excellence - now open for nominations
Published:  27 May, 2010

LONDON: Nominations for the Builders' Merchants Awards for Excellence 2010 are now open. The Awards are the perfect platform to acknowledge the genius of the people that make up the builders' merchants industry. Each year, hundreds of builders' merchants and suppliers from all over the UK prepare entries and nominations for the 15 categories.

Merchanting is all about people, interfacing on a day-to-day basis, knowing what makes your customer tick, giving them the service and products they want. No two days are alike.

That is why the Awards have become the centrepiece for the industry, an event when once the business is done, the best, the brightest and the most enterprising can get a chance to be rewarded for their endeavours.

Nominations stand on their own merit and that is why the way they are set out is so very important. Clarity of objectives and results really matter.

Nominations are welcome from every part of the market – from small independent merchants to the national groups – representative of the industry in its entirety.

All entries will be judged independently by a distinguished panel of industry professionals.

The Awards luncheon at the Lancaster Hotel in London on 19 November 2010 is a focal event in the merchant calendar. It is the networking extravaganza of the year.

Sharing new ways of doing business fuels our desire to support the growth and development of tomorrow's corporate stars.

Be a part of the prestige, the excitement and pack a punch in the world of the merchant business. Register your nominations by clicking the Awards icon at the top right corner of this page to nominate online or to download a nomination form.
