Timber sourcing made simple.

Timbmet launches online ordering system

Published:  26 April, 2010

OXFORD: One of Europe's largest timber distributors launched its first online ordering system, iPack. Timbmet said the system will help customers buy timber, panels, engineered components, doors and flooring products direct, 24 hours a day.

iPack gives users live access to more than £20m worth of Timbmet stock; enabling customers to view and specify the exact size of timber they need, receive a quote and place an order quickly and easily.

Said Timbmet's managing director Wendy Trott: "Users have instant access to our latest deals and are guaranteed the best possible value in terms of product quality, price and speed of delivery."

"We are aware this is a totally new way of buying timber products for many customers. Our entire sales team has been fully trained on iPack and are able to offer support and advice if needed. We have also created an iPack help desk, which can answer any queries."
