CHICHESTER: Covers Timber and Builders' Merchant's launched its new doors and windows showroom, following a successful 'Open Day' held at the company’s head office depot.

The event was attended by a number of the UK's chief suppliers, including Leeds Plywood & Doors; XL Joinery; JB Kind; Carlisle Brass; Dooria; PM Mendes; Garador; Birtley Doors; Vicaima; Jeld-Wen; Premdor; Dale Hardware and The Cubicle Centre. All suppliers were on hand to offer advice and assistance to visitors to the site on the day.

With over 70 door ranges on display, as well as a range of windows, cubicles, staircases, ironmongery and UPVC items, Covers said its aim was to be the leading local merchant for this segment of the market.

Aspect Builders, run by Paul Bridger, won £1000 worth of Covers vouchers after entering the prize lottery on the day.
