Monkey business at FBM Builders’ Merchants

Published:  14 April, 2010

CUMBRIA: Staff in the yard at FBM Builders' Merchants on Cemetery Hill in Dalton-in-Furness were asked by police to remain within their building while they dealt with an escaped monkey.

The Capuchin monkey, native to the Amazon basin, had been missing for five days after it escaped from South Lakeland Wildlife Park last week. It has now been returned to the zoo.
