Greatest contribution to London Award goes to London 2012 Olympic Park

LONDON: The London 2012 Olympic Park Enabling Projects in Stratford have been awarded the top honour at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) London Civil Engineering Awards 2010.

Thirteen infrastructure and building projects were shortlisted for the ICE annual Awards, which recognise engineering excellence in the capital.

Four other projects received awards including King's Cross St Pancras Underground Station Redevelopment - Phase 2, The Shard Construction Methodology, Thames Water's Ring Main Extension and Woolwich Town Centre.
