Baxi appoints Smith as technical services manager

BIRMINGHAM: John Smith has joined Baxi Commercial Division in the role of technical services manager for Andrews Water Heaters and Potterton Commercial Boilers. 

Mr Smith, who began his career at British Gas, has over 20 years of experience in the industry. He came to Baxi Commercial Division from a leading heating manufacturer, where he was national field service manager responsible for a team of 250 engineers and regional service managers.

In his new role, his responsibilities include expansion of the service network, including identifying training needs, developing opportunities for new service contracts and evaluating the need to increase the number of directly employed service engineers as demand grows.
