Earthwool - Knauf's latest name for insulation

Published:  05 March, 2010

T HELENS: Knauf Insulation's core glass and rock mineral wool range has now been unified under a single name – Earthwool. It will replace Knauf Insulation's Crown and Rocksilk brands.

Earthwool utilises the binding process of ECOSE technology to create a new generation of products," said managing director John Sinfield.

"The development of ECOSE technology was revolutionary and has led to a new kind of mineral wool insulation, now easily identifiable under the Earthwool name."

Signalling this enhancement, Knauf Insulation has also converted to transparent packaging. "That way, merchants and their customers can not only 'feel' but also 'see' the difference of their new insulation," said Mr Sinfield.
