Wolseley lends a hand with safety

RIPON: Wolseley's Boroughbridge Road depot is providing 48 volunteers to help with Crucial Crew activities.

The Crucial Crew schools activity fortnight started this week at Deverell Barracks in Ripon. The event will see 2130 primary school children from schools across the district and beyond will take part in activities and workshops designed to provide them with a hands-on approach to safety.

It also gives the pupils an opportnity to experience potentially dangerous situations in a safe and supervised environment with activities including electrical safety, dangers of medicines and drugs run, internet safety, fire and road safety.

Wolseley's 48 volunteers will help run courses during the 12-day period.
