National Fraud Reporting Centre makes its debut

Published:  22 February, 2010

LONDON: A new National Fraud Reporting Centre - 'Action Fraud' – has been launched by the National Fraud Authority and the Attorney General's office. Individuals and Small Businesses are being encouraged to report fraud through Action Fraud as a first port of call.

The website also provides useful information on types of fraud and contains useful tips on how you can protect yourself against it.

By identifying patterns of fraudulent activity and linking disparate cases the centre will prevent information from slipping through the gaps between different agencies.
