Vokèra joins solar trade association

Published:  10 February, 2010

HERTS: Boiler and renewables manufacturer Vokèra has become an official member of the Solar Trade Association (STA) as part of its ongoing commitment to providing low-carbon heating solutions.

The STA has been in operation since 1978 and promotes solar thermal technology for use in domestic, commercial and industrial applications.  To join the association members have to meet strict criteria, ensuring potential solar customers can be confident they are receiving a reputable product and using a competent installer.

Robert Lockhart, renewables project manager at Vokèra, explained: “Solar thermal heating is still a growing market, and as such, it is important for customers to have a resource where they can find out about reliable, high quality equipment and fully trained installers to carry out the work.

Vokèra is pleased to have joined the STA and share the vision of the organisation; as a manufacturer, it is crucial to us that the renewables industry has the opportunity to develop a strong reputation.”
