NUNEATON: Midlands-based lightside merchant, Stuart Plumbing & Heating Supplies has joined the Cemco buying group.

Stuart Elliott, managing director and founder of Stuart Plumbing & Heating, said: "We have been in negotiations with the Cemco group for some time and are proud to have joined as members.

"We are a family-run business with myself at the helm as MD and my nephew Stephen Elliott is the financial director. My team is completed by sales director, Mark Gullick, and my son, Richard.

"We have been trading from Nuneaton for the last 25 years and have opened three more branches in Hinckley, Atherstone and Narborough.

"Further development has included dedicated Bathroom showrooms in Narborough and our new branch in Hinckley, trading as Simply Bathrooms, both of which have over 70 displays.

"The Cemco family enables us to improve product availability and improves buying terms and we look forward to having a long-standing relationship with Cemco and thank the board for our recent membership."

Cemco's lightside trading director, Matthew Harrison, stated that Stuart Plumbing & Heating is an important strategic fit for expanding Cemco's coverage in the area and, with the merchant's product portfolio, can only enhance Cemco's commitment to its suppliers.
