Ceram steps up on-line support

Published:  12 January, 2010

STOKE-ON-TRENT: Materials testing, analysis and consultancy firm Ceram has boosted its web offering to customers in the construction industry with the launch of a revitalised website that provides expanded industry-specific services and a large resource of reports, white papers and guidance documents.

The free downloads cover ‘hot topics’ across the breadth of Ceram’s industry expertise, which for the building and construction sector include reports on flood resilient construction and test methods for cost-effective design.

Customers visiting the new website will find it easy to navigate the full inventory of testing, analysis and consultancy services that Ceram offers, while the clear focusing of industry sections will enable visitors to quickly access a wealth of information specifically put together to meet the needs of the construction sector.

Chief executive, Tony Kinsella, commented: “In response to the rapid growth of some of Ceram’s business areas over the last 12 months, and the unrivalled industry breadth of our offering, we are making sure that visitors to our website have a clear and easy way of accessing the information they need. We are proud of the expertise we have accumulated at Ceram and don’t want to keep it to ourselves – we want to make sure that we provide as much information as we can in an easily accessible manner.”

Highlights of the new website include sign-up options for a range of industry-specific newsletters, an ‘Experts Biographies’ section where visitors can find out more about the leading materials experts in their sector, and an extensive collection of new downloads and case studies.
