Jewson helps with a grotto

Published:  18 December, 2009

BIDEFORD: A vacant Bideford town centre shop has been turned into a Christmas grotto in time for the arrival of Father Christmas this weekend.

Jewson was one of several local companies that helped make it happen.

Julie and Jonathan Barker, owners of the adjacent shop, Century Galleries masterminded the project.

Julie said; "We hope to get as many people down on the day as possible; there are no expenses involved so every penny that we take will go straight to the children's hospice.

The grotto will be open all day this Saturday from 10am to 4pm, with donations being collected for the Children's Hospice South West.
