Howarth calls for VAT cut

BURNLEY: Martin Nauman, branch manager at Howarth Timber and Building Supplies Burnley depot has called for VAT cuts of 5% under the Get Britain Building campaign.

Mr Nauman said: "The industry is in dire need of support to halt its alarming decline. Without direct and swift assistance many of these jobs will never return."

Howarth Timber and Building Supplies joined forces with the Builders’ Merchants Federation's Get Britain Building campaign calling on the Government to get people spending money on their homes.
