Website cuts drain on time

Published:  10 December, 2009

LEAMINGTON SPA: Drain Center, part of the Wolseley group of companies, has launched a website in response to demand from customers who want to research and source drainage products online.

The site provides information on a wide range of drainage products from leading suppliers, including above and underground drainage, as well as utilities and civils.

It allows simple, interactive product selection in an online catalogue format, with a branch finder facility for customers who want to follow up their research with a store visit. There is also a quick enquiry feature that allows customers to leave their details and request a call back from a local branch. In addition, the linked Drain Center e-commerce site has been streamlined to make online purchasing easier and quicker.

Andrew Cushing, Drain Center marketing explains: "We expect the primary use of the new website will be as a source of product information. However, the move towards purchasing online is gradually gathering momentum in the industry and we expect to increase on line trading by simplifying the buying process."
