LEAMINGTON SPA: Wolseley, gold sponsor of the Building Schools Exhibition & Conference 2010, will be showcasing its product, service and supply chain solutions on its interactive stand at the event on 24-25 February 2010 at London ExCel.
The supplier of plumbing and heating products, which is also a major supplier of construction materials, will demonstrate how the correct products can make the difference in creating sustainable, efficient and stimulating educational environments.
Wolseley will have leading brand manufacturers on hand to discuss features, benefits and technical aspects of its education construction products. These include Baxi Commercial Division with its solar water heating system, Kingspan Environmental with its rainwater harvesting system and Frame Wise with its timber frame system.
The stand will also incorporate many other solutions for key areas of education construction projects, including heating and lighting, building services, water management, washrooms, internal fit-out and the external envelope.
Wolseley brand representatives from its trade businesses, including Plumb Center, Build Center, Drain Center and Encon will be available to outline how working with Wolseley as a one-stop-shop for construction materials can help maximise value for money and supply chain efficiencies across projects.
Tim Pollard, Wolseley's head of sustainability, said: "As both climate change and resource depletion provide a more challenging agenda in all construction sectors, and none more so than in education, it is vital that stakeholders choose a supply chain partner who understands all the issues.
"With access to over 7000 sustainable construction products and all the relevant renewables technologies, Wolseley can provide real and practical solutions delivered through a highly efficient and low impact supply chain.
"We see BSEC10 as a unique forum for helping stakeholders in education construction get to grips with the massive number of choices they have to make in designing and building their school – Wolseley want to make the decision making easier and the outcome successful from product supply through to stakeholder engagement."
