Jackson brings early Christmas cheer to Spilsby

LINCOLNSHIRE: The residents of a Spilsby care home are in for an early Christmas present, thanks to the combined efforts of the police force, Jackson Building Centres and the town's neighbourhood policing team.

Eresby Hall in Spilsby is a registered charity and a care home for elderly people. The building is surrounded by gardens, which can be dark at this time of year.

New security floods lights have been donated by Jackson Building Centres of Reynard Street in Spilsby, thanks to some good neighbourhood policing work by PC 'Stan' Standbrook the local community beat manager.

Having spoken with the care home's manager, PC Standbrook said Jacksons was happy to help out.

"Thanks to the company's generosity, two security lights are to be installed free of charge," he said.

"Jacksons has been part of Spilsby's community for many, many years and we are delighted to be able to help a local care home," said Paul Futter, the merchant's assistant branch manager.

"In early 2010 we are planning to move to a new site on Vale Industrial Estate in Spilsby where the business will be under one roof, making it easier for our customers," Mr Futter said.
