WEMBLEY: Greenworks, the sustainable building solutions service available through Jewson and Graham, has delivered the first of a series of national training ‘roadshows’ that aim to make tradesmen throughout the UK more aware of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

The launch event, held at Jewson’s Norton branch in Stockton on Tees, welcomed tradesman, developers and architects throughout the area and provided advice and guidance on how to meet Code Levels 3 and 4 in advance of next year’s changes to legislation.

The day included presentations from NIBE, solarcentury, WPL and PPL Training, the UK’s leading provider of microgeneration renewable energy training and partner to the Greenworks’ Training Academy, who presented the latest in sustainable building solutions and an overview on ‘cracking the code’.

The training event covered the latest in sustainable technologies including exhaust heat pumps, rain water harvesting, under floor heating and solar photovoltaic tiles.
