Published:  30 October, 2009

LUTTERWORTH: PTS has welcomed Kelvin Stevens to the role of managing director. For the past four years Mr Stevens has been managing director of F & P Wholesale, also part of the BSS Group’s domestic division, which has seen a period of unprecedented growth in sales and profitability.

Prior to this role, Mr Stevens was regional managing director of the Southern Region for PTS.

Mr Stevens says: “This is a very exciting stage in PTS’ long and prestigious history and I’m looking forward to being part of its continued successes. Since its acquisition by The BSS Group plc in August 1999 there has been a tremendous amount of investment in people, our branch network and our IT infrastructure, all of which helps us achieve our aim of being our customers’ first choice because of excellent service. I’m looking forward to taking the business to the next level.”

Gavin Slark, chief executive of the BSS Group added: “Kelvin knows the PTS business incredibly well from his time here as a regional managing director and he has achieved great things at F&P, so we are all excited about the bright future ahead. With his skills and expertise we are confident that PTS will continue to move towards its aspiration of being the number one plumber’s merchant in the UK."
