SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE: Giacomini UK has announced the formation of a new partnership with Scoffield Specialist Services for the design, supply and installation of Giacomini underfloor heating systems in Northern Ireland.

As one of Europe's largest manufacturers of underfloor heating systems and components, Giacomini said the partnership with Scoffield, which has a solid track record for designing efficient heating systems, utilising low energy technologies will have a major impact on the Northern Irish market.

"We are excited about the new partnership", said Chris Pritchard, managing director of Giacomini UK.

"Scoffields offers a complete service, from design and installation to commissioning."

Giacomini UK's parent, Giacomini Spa, Italy, is one of the few, firms to manufacture all the components required to complete an underfloor heating system – from brass valves, manifolds and fittings, to the PB, Pex and Pex-Al-Pex pipe. Giacomini also produces electronic control systems, including thermostats and wiring centres.

Scoffield Specialist Services offers a wide range of products that complement heating and ventilation systems in all types of buildings. These include geothermal, supplementary solar heating and heat recovery ventilation.

Said Scoffield's operations manager, Ryan Daly: "With our local knowledge and experience and Giacomini's product excellence, customer satisfaction is guaranteed."

Scoffield is also currently evaluating the market in Northern Ireland for Giacomini's range of plumbers' brass foundry products, which includes radiator valves, lever ball and gate valves.
